Q. Why sulphur? Doesn't it smell?

A. We use a highly refined , deodorised grade of sulphur perfectly blended with light, refreshing botanicals to ensure Essence of Sulphur has  a spa-like scent, not a medicinal one.

Q. Will this oil make my hair oily?

A. Absolutely not. Essence of Sulphur uses a lightweight, non-comedogenic blend of carrier oils (like Sweet Almond and Grapeseed) design for fast absorption , not hair coating. When used as directed, (targeting the scalp only), it absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy, oily residue.

Q. How often should I use it to see results?

A. For best results, we recommend using Essence of Sulphur 2-3 per week as a pre-shampoo or overnight treatment. For a targeting treatment , use daily for the first 2 weeks and then switch to the aforementioned frequency. Most customers reported a noticeable reduction in itchiness and flaking within the first 2 weeks, with visible improvements in scalp health and hair density often seen after 4-6 weeks.

Q. Can I use this on colour-treated or sensitive hair?

A. Yes! Essence of Sulphur is formulate with a no-nasty Pledge and is 100% free of silicones, parabens and harsh chemicals. It is gentle and safe for all hair types, including colour-treated, chemically-treated or sensitive scalps.

Q. I struggle with hair loss and dandruff. Will this help both?

A. This product is not intended to treat or cure scalp conditions. However, the sulphur has anti fungal and anti inflammatory properties than can help keeping scalp clean, refreshed and reduce visible dryness and flaking associated with dry scalps. It also supports nourishment and comfort as part of a healthy hair routine to prevent hair loss.
